Chocolate Banana Truffles
Updated: May 13, 2020
Simply love these homemade truffles! They are so easy and delicious, you won’t believe it!
I know the name “truffles” makes it sound more complicated, but trust me, they are so easy to make and their taste is so creamy! I must say they are not the classic truffles. These ones are the healthy ones, with no refined sugar, but a delicious dessert and a perfect idea for when you're running out of sweets or you're just having guests or friends over and you need to prepare something fast.

Servings: 2
Prep time: 10 min
Refrigerate time: 30-60 min
Total time: 40 min

Ingredients:
-2 ripe bananas
-100g oat flakes
-50g almonds (or any kind of nuts)
-3 tsp cocoa and more for coating
-2 tbsp peanut butter
ps: Don't mind the milk in the picture, I thought I need it, but I didn't!
Method:
1. Mash the bananas, with a fork, into a bowl, until it reaches a nice and creamy texture and set aside.
2. Chop the almonds into small pieces, the same with oats, if you don't have quick oats, or you can easily put them all in a food processor and blend until they reach a powder texture.
3. Add the cocoa and the peanut butter and mix it all together and then refrigerate for about one hour. In this time the composition should get a little bit thicker.
4. After one hour, take a plate and place some cocoa on it, take one tablespoon of the mixture and roll it the powder until it is coated and roll it in your hands to form a ball. Place on another plate and serve now or refrigerate for later.
